INSTRUCTIONS/RULES FOR ZOOM VIRTUAL BOARD MEETING
During the COVID-19 crisis, the Texas Attorney General has ruled that governmental bodies may meet virtually. Perryton ISD Board of Trustees will conduct meetings through Zoom Meeting with the link posted below.
In order to prevent anonymous visitors from disrupting the meeting, the following restrictions are in place.
TPlease make sure that your REAL NAME appears as your identifier NOT YOUR EMail or ipad_5 or whatever. If your name is cryptic or unclear the host may remove you from the meeting.
ALL VISITORS WILL Join with audio muted and video turned off. Video is off to reduce the bandwidth required for other participants to join the meeting.
Those wishing to speak in Open Forum must register online at THIS LINK no later than 5 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
Only the host may unmute someone. You may turn on your video IF you are called on in Open Forum or as part of the Agenda. (Campus & Director’s reports etc.)
During Executive Session, the live feed will be replaced by a graphic stating that Executive Session is in progress.
The virtual public session will remain open while the board is in a closed session. The same behavior will be enforced during this time. This includes the comment section of the virtual meeting.
