FCCLA Region 1 Competition

The Perryton High School FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Competition Team had a very successful trip to Region 1 competition in Lubbock, TX on February 8 - 10.  FCCLA is the only student-led youth organization that has a central focus on the family.  All purposes, projects, and events have a link to the family in some way.  As a chapter Perryton High School FCCLA was recognized for the Highest Voter Award for Spotlight - Medium Chapter Award and Overall Chapter Award.  The chapter also received recognition for    News Across Texas for most articles submitted.  Two of the projects taken to competition are being considered for National Awards.
