The High-Quality Afterschool Program accelerates learning by:
What does High-Quality Afterschool look like?
The program targets Reading and Math for student in Kindergarten to 8th grade and
only Math for high school students.

GENERAL POLICIES:
CANCELATIONS:
If Perryton ISD cancels school because of weather or other reasons, the High-Quality Afterschool Program will also be canceled.
HOLIDAYS:
The High-Quality Afterschool Program will follow the PISD schedule.
TRANSPORTATION:
Parents are responsible for their child’s transportation.
COMPONENTS OF THE HIGH-QUALITY AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM:
Each campus is unique, but all campuses include the following:
Homework Help: Tutorial assistance will be provided to students.
Snack: All students will be offered a snack.
Wellness: All students will have at least 15 minutes of a wellness activity.
High Impact Tutoring in Small Group:
All students will receive small group tutorials, high-quality instruction, and TEKS-aligned tutoring support with resources provided by the Texas Education Agency.
STEAM Enrichment Activities will be provided as a natural extension to the student’s academic pursuits. These activities might include: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math
Academic Instruction:
All students will receive academic instruction tailored to their needs.
