Two PISD employees have received financial awards to help them complete their journey to becoming certified teachers with the district. Ruth Gonzales is currently serving as the Assistant Director of the Ranger Roundup Learning Center. Griffin Brosowski is currently covering Chemistry classes at Perryton High School.
Both have received $9,000 scholarships through the “Grow Your Own” program. In return, they will commit to teaching for at least three years in PISD after they complete their certification. PISD has learned that teachers already in Perryton tend to stay here.
Congratulations to these outstanding future teachers!
