The Perryton ISD Board of Trustees met Tuesday night in a Special Meeting for personnel issues including interviewing candidates for the position of Interim Superintendent. Following three hours in executive session, the board voted unanimously to hire Robin Fulce as Interim Superintendent.
Mr. Fulce has 26 years of education experience prior to his retirement in 2016. He has most recently served as High School Principal at Panhandle ISD after having served there as Superintendent for two years.
He is a 1985 Graduate of West Texas State University. He earned his Master’s Degree at Sul Ross State University and received his Superintendent Certification from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
Fulce will begin his duties with Perryton ISD December 1, but will have an opportunity to meet with the staff during a scheduled staff development day Monday, November 13. Ronnie Watson will continue as Acting Superintendent in the interim.
